To order a pair bespoke made to you, you will need to measure your feet, following our guidance here.

These Shoes will be made from our limited edition, locally tanned leather all hand tanned in Jane Robertson’s micro tannery just down the road from us in Machynlleth.

Jane uses traditional methods with only 4 ingredients - Bracken, Tree bark (Oak, Willow Alder and Spruce), Willow and Water. It’s full of natural character and each pair is has a completely unique finish. The tree barks are harvested by hand and boiled to extract the tannin. Once the skins sit in bark tannins for a few months - the skins are then boiled using vegetable oils, beeswax and pine resin/birch tar which are harvested from the Dyfi valley.

The uppers have rolled edges and are fully lined in soft sheepskin also hand tanned by Jane.

Ordering bespoke means we will make your Shoes to fit you. You can select your size from the drop down below, we will then ask for your measurements. Once we have your measurements we will send you a ‘fitting’ pair of shoes from stock so you can try some on and decide what you would like changing on your pair. We talk/email about the changes needed, you can send photos or a video and we can discuss the changes.

The 5mm soles flexible leather innersoles are tanned in England. They are finished with rubber tyre tread soles which are flexible and grippy to give extra durability, fully resole-able when they wear down.

All our shoes and boots are designed to fit your unique foot shape, built to last and repairable when the soles wear down, giving them a new lease of life for decades to come.

Further Info:
If you are having your feet measured in person we charge £45 Studio Consultation Fitting on top of the bespoke price of our shoes.

If you are ordering our shoes remotely we may need to send out a fitting or several fitting stock pairs of our shoes to make sure we get your bespoke pair absolutely perfect. This involves looking through our stock, spending time corresponding with you over any details, sending leather swatches etc so may incur extra postage costs and/or fitting charge which we will bill you for at the end of the process.

We will always keep you informed as to how much this may cost and give you a clear breakdown as some people have extreme complications with their feet and if you live internationally postage costs may vary.

Size Guide.

Please Note : When looking at our Sizing Chart, if you are choosing Shoes / Boots you will need to add approx 8-10mm to your length to allow for space in front of your toes (This is an individual preference, as some people prefer more space and others less.) For example if your feet measure 244mm in length you would be a size 6 in Shoes/Boots.

With Shandals®, because they are open at the front you are aiming to choose your size to be almost exact to the length - for example 244mm length would be a size 5 Shandal® - again this is preference - some people prefer their toes right up to the stitching and some prefer a slight gap. We recommend your toes to be framed by the stitching for a perfect fit.
